Calpis can also be bought as powder to mix yourself at home. If you mix the Calpis powder with to little water, then will your Calpis become thicker and more opaque. The word “Calpis” is also used as slang for semen, for obvious reasons. Thus, songs about girls drinking Calpis have an interesting dual meaning. This is my third translation of a Calpis song. The lyrics says that Rin only drinks the strawberry Calpis with her “little mouth” = ‘lower mouth’ = pussy. So the blood must be Rin’s own menstrual blood. “It’s a safe day” is a popular line in Ero-manga. The truth is that a girl won’t get pregnant if some menstrual blood has come the same day. Sperms can only survive one week, and it’s well over a week until the next ovulation if there’s still blood. The lyrics hint between the lines that Len only gets blowjobs on those days no blood is coming, (as a precaution against incest teen pregnancy).Rin and Len are twins. In most videos is Rin the elder sister, born a few minutes earlier. This time is Len the elder brother, born a few minutes earlier, (probably because this lyrics is reused from a Miku song, with Miku’s oniichan being a few years older). The two words ‘brother’ and ‘sister’ don’t exist in Japanese. They have four words instead: elder-brother, elder-sister, younger-brother, and younger-sister. I took the liberty to translate oniichan = elder-brother with just “brother”. They are twins after all, and thus seen as exactly the same age by us gaijins.This is my second translation of this song, aimed for Iwara. My first yet unpublished translation, aimed for YouTube, basically hides the most blatant sexual meanings, (i.e. by replacing “little mouth” with “strawberry mouth”). The Iwara version is the more faithful translation.
