花开两朵，各表一枝，这边进城跑腿的小菊晚上找入住的旅店，在一个昏暗的小巷子里发现了一个衣衫褴褛昏倒在地的少女，把她搭救到自己的房间之后，了解到少女名叫雪乃，来投奔亲戚的路上被人抢劫后才饿昏的，小菊一番安慰后两人一起睡下，但是没想到，午夜时分...さて話は二つに分かれる。街の用事を終えたキクが宿を探していると、薄暗い路地でボロボロの服を着た意識不明の少女を発見。自らの部屋に助け上げた後、彼女が雪乃（ゆきの）と名乗り、親戚を頼る途中で強盗に遭い餓死寸前だったことを知る。キクが慰めの言葉をかけると、二人は共に床についた。しかし思いもよらぬことに――真夜中に異変が起きる...Now our story splits in two: While seeking lodging after her errands, Kiku found an unconscious girl in tattered clothes within a dim alley. After bringing her back to her room, she learned the girl was named Yukino, who\'d been robbed en route to relatives and nearly starved. Offering comfort, Kiku settled down to sleep with her... but at the midnight hour, the unexpected occurred...
