As always, I hope you guys are doing well. You can find 2K and 4K versions of this video on my my Patreon, and you can find me on socials at Twitter.thoughts and retrospectiveSo, as you might have noticed, this video is a little different from the ones that have come before. For this project, I really focused on the idea of making a cute softcore music video. The idea for this one started out pretty straightforward, and the process itself went really smoothly, even if it was somewhat time-consuming for a variety of reasons I\'ll get into soon. But yes. I started with 000mmd\'s camera motion. This is one of my favorites of his, and I really wanted to use the cut transitions at 1:22, 1:52, and 2:40 as the primary ways to undress Moe. I think it lends to a very cinematic effect, and I wanted to have Moe interact with the camera in a way that felt lively, embarrassed, and above all else, cute. With that in mind, I didn\'t have to do too much editing of the clothes -- in fact, the strips could be handled with invisibility morphs. I organized the project into two separate files. One was for the lighting, and the other was for manipulating expressions / camera, since the reduced fps once lighting is set up makes frame-by-frame manipulation a little more annoying than I\'d want. With regard to the lighting, I really wanted to focus on making a lighting setup that was automatic and also well-designed. Luckily, the folks at the Iwara discord pointed me towards this tutorial by ngreed, and the setup was relatively simple. It\'s amazing what 3-point lighting and fill lights can accomplish. You\'ll notice that a good number of lights on Moe are not really natural -- there\'s a blue rim light coming from the upper left and a spotlight coming from in front of her to simulate the light from the moon "bouncing" off the ground -- but I think they contribute to a very cinematic and pleasant effect. The camera editing was relatively straightforward -- there were a couple places that went to extreme angles that I think obscured Moe\'s expressions, and so I played around with them, especially in the back half of the motion. The motion editing was, as usual, the most time consuming. There were a ton of places where Moe\'s arms, legs, breasts, and hands (!!!) would clip through other parts of her. Given how specific the motion is to TDA models and how interactive the base motion was, this was to be expected. So I had to spend a good number of days getting those clipping issues figured out. The beginning, for example, was clip city with her skirt, and I basically went through and manually adjusted frame-by-frame until most of the issues were gone. The expressions were as fun as always. I really hope you guys like how alive she feels in this video. Using the modifications I added to the base Moe model for the last video, I really stretched my ability to make for smooth transitions between emotions, and more believable emotions as whole. There\'s parts of this video I\'m really proud of in this regard, like the part with Moe\'s embarrassed grin as she walks towards the camera during the last chorus. I just love it! She\'s the cutest model. Let me know what you guys think!Oh yeah. I also added some emotes into the video using OpenShot. I think it looks kinda cute, but I\'ll probably see about other video editing software so that I can programmatically interface with animations and whatnot, instead of having to manually keyframe each one.Of course, there are some parts I\'m not as happy about. There\'s still clipping around her armpits and thighs, and I\'ll probably try to address that next time by creating invis/expansion morphs for those areas to conceal them, as I think they look quite ugly. Additionally, I might try playing with shaders and ray settings to get an effect that\'s more cartoonish / closer to Genshin\'s rendering style. Or I\'ll just do that in Blender.Anyways, I\'ll be seeing you guys again soon. The next motion should be a striptease -- and I\'m even thinking of practicing sex loops so I can do something like Krag\'s most recent video.credits\nModel: "Iwasaka Moe" by Quappa-el.
