Decided to revisit the Dev branch of RAYMMD and this time dive a bit deeper on it, and found out a lot of significant changes compared to Ray 1.5.2, the main ones being Screen Space Subsurface Scattering, Screen Space Global Illumination, Screen Space Reflection, Screen Space Contact Shadow, and way more settings on shadows, this helps creating more realistic lighting setups and overall feels a lot easier than 1.5.2 to get to a good result, specially on low light settings. All my testing was made with all settings on medium in ray.conf, and the results are a lot better than what i expected, with the only downsides that i\'ve notices is some bugs in a few light sources and the noise around the model, that is caused by the SSAO and can be eliminated by moving the SSAO Radius - morph to around 0.8 (which i found out only after rendering of course). This version is incompatible with old materials due to changes on the structure of the files, but can be fixed easily, but even the default materials look better than they did on 1.5.2, this project only used default materials slightly tweaked to fit the models.Of which it comes to another thing i was testing, which is my new Miku edit, created from Iwasaka Moe with Bunches hair and eyes from Ratonika, all models from Quappael.
